Organization Management - Ivy Tech State College, A.S, Business Management, . EXPERIENCE I began my law career in the not-for-profit sector working for Indiana Legal Services in 2001. I represented low-income clients in eviction actions, dissolutions, custody battles, unemployment compensation hearings, social security hearings and other civil proceedings. In 2004, I entered private practice, where I am a solo practitioner providing representation in the following areas - employment discrimination, Worker’s Compensation, Bankruptcy, misdemeanors, personal injury, guardianships, social security hearings and other civil and criminal matters. In 2006, I became Habeas Counsel in the Guantanamo Bay detainee litigation. I am representing a client from Afghanistan who is being wrongfully detained. *Admitted to practice in Indiana (federal and state court), the Northern District of Illinois (federal) and the District of Columbia (federal) and the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C.
